We are challenging everyone to donate $10.00. What is $10.00??? two cups of coffee, two extra value meals, a movie ticket, etc. You will never miss the $10.00 and it will help so much. (We of course are happy to accept more). We need to build a bathroom for the childen in the Shizong orphanage. All they have is nasty concrete walls with a hole in the ground and a porcelain thing dropped in. There is no water to flush everything away. The smell is the worst I have ever smelled in my life. They have no sinks to brush their teeth or wash their hands and face. The shower is a hose pipe dropped out of a ceiling. There is no hot water so no one wants to take a shower especially in the winter. Please help by donating at least $10.00. Please don't think it won't help because all the littles add up to a lot. At $10.00 we need 500 people to donate and then we can build the new bathroom.
Shizong is a rural town in the Yunnan province and is a very poor place. We've been aiding the children for the last 6 years. None of the children have been submitted to the adoption affairs so they have no hope for a forever family. We want to do all we can to make their life a better place and it can only happen with your help. Please be a part.

How did the challenge end up? Were you able to raise enough for the new bathroom? Will there be pics coming soon? I think it would be great for all the contributors to be able to see the outcome. Thanks so much.
I'm also wondering how things turned out and, even though all the money that was hoped for wasn't raised, if you were able to build a nicer bathroom facility for the children. Thanks for all you do!
